"What A Shame"; Man Beaten Up Mercilessly By Police During Protest In Kenya

This is very disheartening and unacceptable... are these policemen on drugs. Kenyan police fired tear gas, beat citizens to break up protests over electoral reforms ahead of general elections next year. Police officers were seen beating some protesters who had gathered outsides the offices of Kenya's electoral commission in the capital Nairobi. See photos below;
